The Property Market Today

Centurion is considered by many as the almost exact half-way point in between Pretoria and Midrand. This means that if you're investing in real estate here, you'll be putting yourself - or your renters for that matter - near a host of important services and amenities. This is great news for young professionals, growing families and retirees alike who may want to consider new developments, private homes and even heritage site buildings    According to statistics, real estate investors turn towards apartments over houses when purchasing property in Centurion. This is most likely due to the suburbs proximity to the CBD. The average estimated value of a house in Centurion is around R 2 100 000 (as of publishing 2018) whereas for apartments it's sometimes around R 660 000 (as of publishing 2018). Although there are some beautiful estates and gated communities here, the apartments just prove more convenient to the busy demographic here. Currently, property owners in Centurion fall predominately between the 36 to 49 year old age bracket. However, recent buyer's statistics indicate that the younger generation, namely 18 to 35 year olds, have been purchasing property in Centurion too. Possibly contributing to the spike in apartment sales in recent years.
